Ex-racing greyhound Elvis had become reactive to other breeds; his owner really wished to see him less fearful, more confident and comfortable, and able to enjoy his life.
A year ago, Elvis and I nervously joined Laura and a group of fellow dogs and their humans in a local secure field. Elvis, my ex-racing greyhound, had become reactive to other breeds of dog and I had contacted Dog Communication, hoping to help him become more confident and comfortable. After an initial consultation, followed by a delay due to covid, we progressed to Laura’s group classes.
She welcomed us into the class and quickly spotted his intelligence and lovely nature. I found the session fun, interesting and stimulating for me as well as Elvis, with lots of simple activities for the dogs to enjoy, all in a safe environment.
Over the months, not only has Elvis become less reactive around other dogs and can walk alongside certain ‘friends’ now, he has learnt many tricks as well which he loves to show off to the class!
Laura is immensely intuitive and understanding, knowledgeable and experienced. Each dog fortunate enough to be helped by her is given a full assessment before advice on next steps.
